Carey is passionate about plants and conservation. She has worked in the landscape industry since 2003. In 2012, she became a certified Feng Shui Practitioner for home and garden, she wanted to offer her clientele a deeper meaning to their gardens by incorporating Feng Shui and its many attributes. She is involved in several organizations geared toward conservation and sustainability; she donates her time to the Southbay Botanic Garden and The Garden at Cuyamaca College. One of her most beloved projects is a Healing Garden for Kaiser Permanente incorporating the five senses (sight-sound-touch-taste-smell) along with the five elements (wood-fire-earth-metal-water). Carey is a certified landscape designer and consultant.
